Laser product barcode
TOMISON provides customers with laser barcodes, which are used with the MES manufacturing execution system for product process traceability. For each product, we need to set a unique number, like our ID card, which the system prints and attaches to the product, or it can be laser-engraved onto a designated location on the product. Laser barcodes are smaller and less prone to loss than paper barcodes. Once the process is confirmed, production can proceed according to the process and scan the code for records. Each time a barcode is scanned, the system automatically records details such as the production time, operator, production line, and operation results for each product at each stage. The system also effectively prevents operators from skipping processes, preventing quality problems.
